MOTIVATION, PURPOSE & MISSION
In 2004, my sister Della was diagnosed with Choriocarcinoma, a malignant brain tumor which had spread to her lungs and her spleen during the pregnancy of her second child. Her invasive chemotherapy and radiation sessions caused her to not only lose her hair, but caused extreme muscle soreness, fatigue and was also devastating to her skin. Over the counter products did nothing to ease her symptoms. As her caregiver, I felt helpless in assisting her in this portion of her combat, but I can proudly announce that she is not only a warrior, but a hero! She is currently a SEVEN YEAR CANCER HERO AND IS THRIVING!
Then In 2009 my mother Luz was diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer. After a double mastectomy and the help of cancer drugs, she was able to fight off her disease. But once again, the havoc wrecked on her skin was not eased with regular dry skin products on grocery store shelves. When she went to her physicians to address her skin problems and muscle soreness, the only answers they could provide were those written with a prescription pad. Most of those were not helpful. Again, as a caregiver, I felt helpless during this part of battle, but began researching and experimenting with various ingredients to help soothe muscle soreness and combat the dryness caused by cancer drugs.
In 2011, my mother's aggressive form of breast cancer was back with a vengeance. Although her combat strategy will be different, the damage to her body is the same. This time I vowed that she would not just win her battle...but she will GLO in the process! She and ALL CANCER WARRIORS deserve to GLO both INSIDE AND OUT, and I intend to assist them in their personal battles!
